Akshaye Khanna has come out of hibernation. The actor is cast with Ajay Devgn and Bipasha Basu in director Priyadarshan's latest offering Aakrosh. The hard-hitting film takes a look at the issue of honour-killings where Akshaye plays a cop. This is his fifth film with Priyadarshan and second with Ajay Devgn after Deewangee.

The actor will also be seen in a cameo in Farah Khan’s upcoming film

Tees Maar Khan that toplines Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. Akshaye said that he shot for the movie for 11 hectic days. He also said that he likes to be invisible from the constant glare of the press and that in his free time he watches many movies, reads a lot, sleeps and meets his friends. Akshaye was last seen in the 2009 release Shortkut - The Con Is On.

Katrina Kaif adds glitz to Salman's show

Katrina Kaif added glitz to Salman Khan’s Being Human show at the India Couture Week in Mumbai last week. Each actress sported a look from a particular era for the show. Katrina was welcomed on the stage by models who were dressed as tap dancers and the mafia exemplifying the 1930s.

Katrina also made news for slapping her Mere Brother Ki Dulhan co-star Imran Khan 16 times for a shot. Earlier, Imran had injured Katrina's nose while shooting for a comic scene by accidentally hitting her with the barrel of a gun while pulling her towards himself.

Katrina will next be seen in Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan, in which she will be seen dancing to yesteryear's hit songs such as Jumma chumma de de and a qawwali number called Wallah re wallah as a tribute to late actress Meena Kumari’s look in Pakeezah. The movie will release on December 24.

Arshad Warsi lines up comedies

Arshad Warsi and comedy make a good pair. No wonder then that Arshad is all set to appear in rip-roaring comedies in the next few months.

The actor is currently in Mauritius with co-stars Riteish Deshmukh and Jackky Bhagnani shooting for F.A.L.T.U. The title stands for Fakirchand and Lakirchand Trust University. Arshad and Riteish play fake professors in the campus film.

He will then travel back to shoot for Double Dhamaal being directed by Indra Kumar.

Arshad will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s trilogy Golmaal 3 along with Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Khemu. The film is slated to release on November 5.

Meanwhile, the actor's last release, Ishqiya, has been selected for the 34th Cairo International Film Festival that is scheduled to be held from November 30 to December 9 this year.
